What you get in the rack

Power and cooling sized for what you are actually deploying, including air and liquid cooling for GPU-dense builds; isolated racks rather than shared cabinets; and encrypted interconnects between your equipment and our fabric. Physical access is available when you need to be hands-on with your own hardware — you own it, and you should be able to touch it.

Colocation versus dedicated bare metal

If you already own servers with useful life left, colocation is almost always cheaper than replacing them with rented bare metal — you are buying space, power and connectivity rather than re-purchasing compute you have. If your hardware is near end of life, or you would rather not own a refresh cycle at all, renting from our compute platform avoids the capital event. Many customers do both: existing hardware colocated, new capacity rented, one environment.

One VPC across your rack and our cloud

This is the part that distinguishes colocation with a cloud provider from colocation with a landlord. Your racked hardware can join the same private network as your MarQi Cloud instances rather than sitting behind a translation layer — the single-VPC model described under hybrid cloud. That makes gradual migration possible: move one tier at a time, keep the rest where it is, and never run a big-bang cutover.

Storage and protection for colocated workloads

Your hardware can consume our storage rather than needing its own array — high-IOPS block storage with triple replication, described under storage architecture. Protection works the same way for racked and virtual workloads, so you are not running two backup tools with two runbooks: see snapshots and backups.

No egress fees on any of it

Who operates it

You can run your own equipment and use us purely for space and connectivity, or hand day-to-day operation to our engineers under managed services — with the same NOC that covers our platform watching yours, described under status and monitoring.
